The landscape is breathtaking. A feeling of completeness overcomes you. You’re at 320 m altitude, at the foot of Mont Sainte-Baudille, the highest point in the H\u00e9rault valley. Nicknamed the “Sentinel of Larzac”, it marks the transition from the plain to the Larzac plateau. It is here, overlooking the medieval village of Arboras, its ancient silkworm nursery and its 17th-century ch\u00e2teau, that the Causse d’Arboras estate lies. Cut by a deep natural fault, this exceptional site with its dramatic geography enjoys panoramic views over the entire H\u00e9rault valley, all the way to the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A NORTHERN EXPRESSION OF LANGUEDOC<\/p>

The domaine’s vines flourish on one of the highest and most northerly limestone plateaus in the Languedoc. This altitude, combined with the continental influence of Larzac, results in a very long ripening cycle. As a result, the grapes are rich in sugars, and the grapes are optimally ripe in terms of color, tannins and aromas. Another unique feature of the estate is the high-density planting of the vines (7,000 vines\/ha). Rare in the Languedoc and worthy of the most renowned French vineyards, this planting density generates competition between the vines, which then produce only a few bunches, all rich and concentrated.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
