Terroir & vineyards
Rocky red clay on limestone down the Gardiole mountain on the Aresquiers barrier beach. Warm and dry Mediterranean climate, tempered by the sea influence. The use of irrigation allows the leaves to develop and thus protect the berries from the direct sunlight, in order to find the right balance between maturity and freshness.
Vinification and aging
Our quest of getting the purest and most aromatic juices starts in the vineyard and continues in the cellar. A vibrating reception quay allows us to directly salvage 70% of the juice, and send the rest to the pneumatic pressing. This is how we manage to preserve all the aromatics and freshness in our wines. White muscat and red grenache are harvested mid August, then white colombard and red carignan at the end of August. Both red & white couples are vinified together, at low temperature, and the final blend is then made between the 4 varietals.
A pale pink color with a nose ery aromatic with citrus fruit and white flowers aromass. A wine that shows a unique profile. Pineapple and red berries, nice acidity and a remarkable length.
