Terroir & vineyards
The vineyards of Domaine du Causse d’Arboras are planted on a plateau of limestone shards among the highest in the Languedoc (320 m altitude). For this wine we select the vines from the richest area in red clay soil for a style that is flexible. The warm and dry Mediterranean climate is tempered by the altitude and the continental influence of Larzac.
An assemblage where black Grenache plays a predominant role (40%) and completed by Syrah (30%) and Mourvèdre (30%).
