Terroir & vineyards
This plot belongs to the Terrasses du Larzac appellation area. L’Autochtone is a natural wine, with no added sulphites or filtration. Instead, nature is left to its own devices, providing us with the natural yeasts used in the vinification process. Our vines grow at an altitude of 320 m and are harvested by hand. This product is the culmination of our organic approach and bears all the unique hallmarks of our flavoursome Languedoc wines.
Vinification and aging
Hand harvesting on September 15 with a strict selection in the vineyard. Vertical pressing of the entire bunches in order to get a delicate and mineral juice. Fermentation in small stainless steel vats (16-18°C). Bottling on December 17th.
A pale golden colour that offers a fresh and crisp on the nose, very aromatic. The palate is a nice aromatic complexity : fresh apple, green almond, ripe pear and pineapple. A very well balanced and fat wine.
