Terroir & vineyards
The Camargue is a wild and colourful region. Both sand and a palate of pink colours represent this land. Our Domaine le Pive is located in the heart of the region, planted in a soil of fine sands. This is where our rosé is made.
Vinification and aging
Harvesting by night to preserve the aromatic freshness of the grapes. Direct pressing. Settling on lees for 5 days to build richness and powerful aromas. We use our own native yeasts to ferment the wine. Fermentation in stainless-steel vats at 15-18°C. 10% of the wine was fermented in 400 liters -barrels .The specificity of the barrel lies in the way it is burnt : this is a very light burning, tailor-made burning, specially done for our cuvée, which is very light and which only purpose is to enhance the freshness and aromatic intensity of the grenache gri
Tasting notes
A pale pink colour with a very fresh and flattering nose, with aromas of pineapple, mango and white-fleshed fruit. The palate is very refreshing, with fresh fruit notes (pineapple, mango, peach), pleasing length and finesse in the mouth, and a subtly acidic gourmet finish.
